Acceptable Use Policy
The short version: use TrustLens to verify and understand — not to harm, defraud, or abuse. Here's the full list.
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1.Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy describes what you may not do with TrustLens AI. It is part of the User Agreement. We built TrustLens to help people verify AI answers and understand documents — using it to harm others or break the law is not permitted, and we may suspend or terminate access for violations.
2.Illegal Content and Activity
Do not use the Service to process, store, or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, or to plan, facilitate, or carry out illegal activity. This includes content that exploits or endangers minors, which we treat with zero tolerance and may report to authorities.
3.Malware and Security Abuse
Do not upload or submit malicious code of any kind — viruses, worms, ransomware, spyware, or files crafted to exploit vulnerabilities in the Service or its underlying systems. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, attempt to bypass authentication or rate limiting, or interfere with the Service's operation (including denial-of-service attacks).
4.Fraud and Misrepresentation
Do not use the Service to defraud or mislead anyone. This includes doctoring or misrepresenting TrustLens reports, presenting trust scores or risk scores as guarantees of truth or safety, using reports to lend false credibility to fabricated content, and impersonating TrustLens AI or any person or organization.
5.Harassment and Harm
Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse any person, or to process content whose purpose is to demean, intimidate, or incite violence against individuals or groups.
7.Reverse Engineering and Scraping
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; attempt to extract our prompts, models, or scoring logic; scrape the Service; or use the Service or its output to build a competing verification product or to train machine-learning models.
8.API and Rate-Limit Abuse
Do not circumvent free-tier limits (for example, by rotating IP addresses or automating bulk requests), share or resell Pro keys, use automated tools to hammer our endpoints, or access the Service by any means other than the interfaces we provide (website and browser extension).
9.Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including warning you, throttling or suspending access, terminating access permanently, removing content, and notifying law enforcement where required.
